Transcend Coffee in Garneau

Transcend Coffee is well known in Edmonton for their excellent specialty brew. They have expanded over the last couple years from a single southside location and now also have locations downtown and in Garneau.

The Garneau location is attracting families with children of all ages. The cafe is not huge but unless it is extremely busy there is usally an out-of-the-way spot to park a stroller. At busier times, wear your baby in a carrier or get a coffee to go.

We love Transcend and it’s a great place to go with a younger infant, but if you have a rambunctious toddler there is not a lot of play space.  Luckily the Garneau cafe is mere blocks away from several local playgrounds, so if your little ones get antsy you can get your latte to go!
