Family Favourite Movies
What: Cineplex is showing family classic movies every Saturday morning April. This weekend’s show is The Great Muppet Caper.
Why: For only $2.50/ person your family can enjoy a kids movie and a portion of the proceeds go towards the Starlight Children's Foundation. This is the 3rd last show!

Scientists Unite
Logicon
What: A two day celebration of all things scientific. Drop in for a session or register for the full two days.
Why: This year they’ve added a family stream with hands-on activities and includes sessions on dinosaurs, young inventors and order in randomness.

When: Saturday, April 14, 9 am – 5pm and Sunday, April 15 12pm – 5pm
Gettin’ Crafty
On the Spot Craft Sale
What: Local crafters gather for a spontaneous sale of handcrafted goods.
Why: It only lasts two days!
Where: 10720 124 Street (Former Duchess Bake Shop)
When: Saturday, April 14 from 10am-5pm and Sunday, April 15 from 10am-5pm.
Comic Relief
All Day Sunday
What: Humour and art blended beautifully together. This All Day Sunday is inspired by Alberta artist Chris Millar’s exhibition The Untimely Transmogrification of the Problem.
Why: Take a cue from the exhibit then create your own artwork using comic books, paint and image transfer techniques. Then create a puppet to use in your own story.
Where: Art Gallery of Alberta. 2 Sir Winston Churchill Square. Children 6 and under are free. Adults $12.50.
When: Sunday, April 15, 2012. 12- 4pm
I’ve Outgrown It Sales Galore
Edmonton Twin & Triplet Club – We’ve Out Grown It Sale
What: Two of more of everything! A great sale for families with multiples. Lots and lots of clothes.
Where: Ukrainian Youth Unity Complex, 9615 - 153 Avenue, Edmonton.
When: Saturday, April 14, 2012. Public shopping 12pm – 3pm.

I’m Too Big For It Sale
What: Again, another great sale. I particularly love clothing at this sale because these sellers have often purchased high-end clothing that has barely been worn. Also gear is typically great for this sale.
Where: Esther Starkman School, 2717 Terwillegar Way
When: Saturday, April 14. 10am – 1pm
Gish Baby & Tot Items Sale
What: Gently used children’s items from baby to size 6. A few vendors will be selling new products as well.
Where: St. Albert. Elmer S. Gish School, 75 Akins Drive.
When: Saturday, April 14, 2012. 9am – 12pm
Admission: $1 each adult
Morinville Mom-to-Mom Sale
What: Mornville’s first mom-to-mom sale featuring children's clothes, toys, shoes, equipment, furniture, strollers, bicycles, etc.
Where: Ray McDonald Sports Centre, 9908-104 Street, Morinville, AB
When: Sunday, April 15, 2012. 10am – 2pm
Admission: $2 or donation for the food bank
Shop in the Park
The Great Canadian Trade Fair & Sale
What: This is the 29th year for this show. In 2012 will feature 300 booths with live entertainment and new this year – The Taste of Strathcona.
Why: Make sure to stop by and visit Bumblebee Kids, Keylime Athletic Wear and other great Sherwood Park businesses.
Where: Millennium Place, 2000 Premier Way. Sherwood Park. Admission: $3. Free for kids under 5.
