Sharon and Bram
What:
A Sharon and Bram show is a sing-along concert for the entire family, featuring such well-loved favourites as “She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain", “Five Little Monkeys", “One Elephant", “Tingalayo", and, of course, “Skinnamarink". These much loved Canadian children’s entertainers are no longer joined by Lois who left the trio in 2000, but that hasn’t stopped Sharon and Bram from carrying on with participatory music for children and families.

Festival Place, Sherwood Park.
When:
Friday, March 20, 2015. Shows at 2:00pm and 6:30pm.

 

Science FUNday
What: A free all-day, annual science exhibition for families, featuring over 40 interactive science experiments and numerous exciting presentations throughout the day.
Where:
University of Alberta, Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Sciences (CCIS), 11455 Saskatchewan Drive
When:
Saturday, March 21, 2015. 10am – 4pm.

 

Edmonton Cat Fanciers Club: Cat Show
What: Cat lovers unite. Stop in to see cat judging, visit with the felines, visit the vendors and see the kittens & cats at from rescue organizations.

March 21 and 22, 2015. 9:30am – 4:30pm.

 

Edmonton Home and Garden Show
What:
Find fresh inspiration, helpful tips, innovative products and fantastic deals in remodeling, home improvement, decor and outdoor spaces with hundreds of experts all under one roof.

Downtown Defrost
What:
A celebration of the changing seasons with a free outdoor dance party. Warm drinks and food trucks too. Bring a donation for YES (Youth Empowerment & Support Services).

Everything Easter
What:
Learn how pioneers used traditional dyes for coloring eggs, sample some baking prepared over a wood-burning stove, play games families would have in early Edmonton and race around the Park on a hunt for Easter eggs. Register early – code: 532782.

All Day Sundays: Pop Art Factory

Pop into the new exhibition POP SHOW! and discover the art of the everyday. Take inspiration from artists that pioneered the pop art movement and create Warhol-esque stencil-art, construct pop art plasticine sculptures a là Oldenburg, and craft dot paintings inspired by Lichtenstein.
