Earth Hour
What: A global lights-out event led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to show support for action on climate change. In 2014, Edmonton was named the Earth Hour Capital of Canada! Lets do it again.
Where:
Around the world.
When:
Saturday, March 28, 2015. 8:30 – 9:30 pm – turn off all non-essential lights.

Spring Break Starts Here
What:
 The Edmonton Public Library will be hopping this week with additional programming to engage kids over spring break. There is something for kids of all ages – interactive games, creation stations, artistic impressions, puppet theaters, stop motion lego and story writing.

March 28 – April 4, 2015.

 

Northlands Farm and Ranch Show
What:  Cheer on the Canadian College Finals Rodeo toughest students, visit the animals and check out all the farming gear at the trade show.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel
What: The world famous singing pre-teen chipmunk trio return to contend with the pressures of school, celebrity, and a rival female music group known as The Chipettes.

Personally I can’t stand their squeaky voices, but my girls love them. Sigh.)

Spring Equinox Celebration and Market
What: A family festival including a spring story journey, face painting, magical wand making, fairy door crafts, live mustic, food, prizes and vendors village. Organized by the Edmonton Waldorf Parent Council.
