Celebrate Canada Day at the Legislature 
What: Visit the Alberta Family Fun Zone get a temporary tattoo and take a legislative tour. There will also be 3 stages with over 25 live performances. Bring cash and grab lunch at one of the over 30 food trucks and vendors on site.

Canada Day at City Hall
What: Canada Day celebrations are mixed with the Jazz Festival and The Works Festival both inside and outside. Go for the live music, entertainment and kids crafts.

Chinatown Night Market Time

What: A street market, cultural performances and food trucks.

FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 Semi Final

Lighting of the High Level Bridge
What: 
Enjoy the bridge light art created by Edmonton lighting designer Scott Peters and musician Jason Kodie. This dynamic programming will be accompanied by a soundscape of Edmonton music, which will be simulcast on CKUA Radio. The light show will end with a special Asani performance of O Canada!

 A grand celebration of the Dominion of Canada then and now. Celebrate the traditional Edmonton way: watch an authentic parade, toast to the Queen, sing Happy Birthday, and take part in other royal activities.

What: The Zoo is also celebrating their 56th birthday this Tuesday so there are extra activities and surprises planned. Canadian animal enrichments, scavenger hunts, Adventure Bus, games, air brushed tattoos, red and white cupcakes and more.

Canada Day Celebration – Spruce Grove
What: 
This much-anticipated party starts off with a $3 pancake breakfast and gets sweeter from there. Roving entertainment, face painting ($), Kid Zone (kids under under 46" tall), Adventure Zone (kids 46" and taller) street performers, cake, displays and more. Evening ends with fireworks at 11pm.

Canada Day in St. Albert
What: 
A multitude of events across the city. Pancake breakfast is happening at Heritage Lakes. Lions Park is the primary celebration during the day. Activities include bouncy castle, obstacle courses, large slide, games, canoe rides, crafts,  and displays. Followed by an evening of live entertainment at City Hall. Fireworks at 11pm.

Canada Day Festival 2015 – Sherwood Park/ Strathcona County
What: 
An enormous family festival. They even have their guidebook in an app. Here are only a handful of activities: pancake breakfast, parade, live music, petting zoo, telescopes, inflatables, kite making, activity kids academy, games, crafts and fireworks at 11pm.

What: Start the day with a pancake breakfast at the Leduc Legion then watch the parade. In the afternoon there will be a tractor show and shine, wagon rides, muscial performances and fireworks at 11.

Canada Day at Elk Island National Park
What: On Canada Day, enjoy free entry to all of Canada's National Parks, National Historic Sites and National Marine Conservation Areas – including Elk Island. Go for a flag raising ceremony, cake, bouncy castles, performances from The Command Sisters and Bollywood Beats, a picnic and a nature walk.

Also, check out the firefighter challenge, car show, birthday cake, fireworks and a performance by Captain Tractor.
