Servus Heritage Festival – 40th Anniversary!
What:  A celebration and showcase of Edmonton’s multicultural heritage.  Spend the day in the park and enjoy 60 pavilions serving up delicious ethnic foods, live performances, crafts, artwork and more. Download their app to get all the information in the palm of your hand.
Where: Hawrelak Park.  Plan to arrive by bus, bike or on foot.
When:  August 1 – 3, 2015.


Fairy Berry Festival
What: Fairies, pirates, fairy-strawberries, face painting, crafts, shortcake, folk music and the corn maze on top of the usual fun on the farm.
Where: Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm
When: August 1 – 3, 2015

Tip: Kids dressed as fairies, pirates and knights (under 5) receive free admission to the farm.


Reel Family Cinema: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
When hard times hit Swallow Falls, its townspeople can only afford to eat sardines. Flint Lockwood, a failed inventor, thinks he has the answer to the town’s crisis. He builds a machine that converts water into food, and becomes a local hero until the machine spins out of control and threatens to bury the whole world under mounds of food.

Tip: Kids under 12 get in free. A retro movie outing that doesn’t break the bank.  


Edmonton Corn Maze
The maze is open for the season! Kids will love the huge jumping pillows, farm animals, spud guns, climbing the hay bales mountain, grain train and pedal carts.

2015 Panamerican Junior Athletics Championships
What: Over 38 countries and 700 athletes will be participating at this must-see track and field event.
