What To Do With Kids This Weekend in Edmonton | December 19 - 21, 2014

The Muppet Christmas Carol
Dickens’ classic holiday  is re-enacted into  a charming as puppeteered rendition, thanks largely to the “Muppetian jollity” (Roger Ebert) Kermit (as Bob Cratchit), Miss Piggy (as Mrs. Cratchit) and their friends bring to the rather sombre tale. With rousing songs and a good dose of humour, this is a Christmas Carol even a dour Victorian would enjoy.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas!

With the snow and the Christmas lights up downtown it’s definitely feeling more like Christmas. This weekend marks the start of all the holiday events – arrival of Santa, light-ups, craft shows. 


Christmas on the Square Holiday Lightup
Live music, carolers, balloon artists and at 6:30pm Santa waves the magic wand to light up the giant spruce tree. A fantastic fireworks display follows. Bring a donation to the Edmonton Food Bank to help fellow families.
