Thanksgiving Long Weekend Already
There is so much to be thankful for this weekend, besides having a long weekend. I am thankful for my family and friends, and that includes you. Knowing that the work and love I pour into City and Baby is helping so many families to enjoy Edmonton is so fufilling. Thank you for reading, sharing and commenting.

Equestrian Ballet
Cavalia
What: Cavalia is a unique mix of equestrian and performing arts, multimedia and special effects.
Why: An unbelievable sight. Beautiful horses, live music, acrobatic stunts and dance combined into an awesome experience.
Where: Edmonton City Centre Airport, White Big Top
When: Extended to October 21, 212. Saturday and Sunday matinees too.
Lets Go Eskimos
Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs. Edmonton Eskimos
What: Fall football fun.
Why: Friday is Minor Football night so there will be extra kids in the stands. Plus keep an eye out for AMA’s School Safety Patrollers handing out Go Esk flags.
Where: Commonwealth Stadium. Take transit for free when you show your ticket.
When: Friday, October 5, 2012. 7pm
Boo-tiful Fall
Haunted Pumpkin Festival
What: Celebrate pumpkin harvest at the farm.
Why: Go to see the pumpkin cannon. Make a FREE scarecrow making. Enjoy live music, mimes and mazes. The petting farm is always a favourite too.
Where: Prairie Gardens and Adventure Farm
When: Weekends from Sept 29 - Oct 28, 2012
Tip: Bring your camera. There are sure to be beautiful moments and fall colours to capture.

Farmers Markets
What: Thanksgiving marks the last weekend for most outdoor markets.
Why: Stock up on staples and goodies for Thanksgiving.
Where: St. Albert Farmers Market (Sat), City Market Downtown (Sat), Callingwood Market (Sun)
Corny Fun
Edmonton Corn Maze
What: A beautiful way to spend an afternoon outdoors.
Why: Kids will love their massive jumping pillow and friendly animals. We love that they donate $1 to the Edmonton Food Bank from each admission.
Where: South Spruce Grove area. Map. Admission: Adults $10. Child (5- 11) $8. Child <5 Free.
When: Friday – Monday this long weekend. Open until Oct 20, 2012.
